Refund, Cancellation & Auto-Renewal Policy

1. Auto-renewal disclosure

Employer subscriptions to InsightIntern are recurring. By starting a paid plan you authorize us, through our payment processor (Stripe), to automatically charge your payment method on each renewal date at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA, 15 U.S.C. § 8403), California Business & Professions Code § 17602, and the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.

• Billing cadence and price are shown on the Pricing page and on the checkout screen before you pay.
• We will email a receipt for every renewal charge.
• Price changes will be emailed to you at least 30 days before they take effect.

2. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, in one click, from Employer → Billing → Manage subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for. No phone call or email is required.

3. Refunds

• 14-day money-back guarantee: If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid charge and you have not made substantive use of paid features (e.g. published more than 3 employer replies or downloaded the company report), we will refund that charge in full.
• Annual plans: If you cancel after the 14-day window, the unused portion of an annual plan is refunded on a pro-rata basis, less a 10% administrative fee.
• Monthly plans: After the 14-day window, monthly charges are non-refundable, but cancellation stops all future charges immediately.
• Duplicate or erroneous charges: Always refunded in full.

Request a refund at billing@insightintern.com from the email address associated with your account. We respond within 5 business days.

4. EU / UK right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU and UK have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract, with no reason required. To exercise it, email billing@insightintern.com within 14 days of purchase. Note: by starting to use paid features during the 14-day period you expressly agree that the service begins before the withdrawal period ends, and you may owe an amount proportionate to the service supplied (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 14(4)(a)).

5. Free trials

Where a free trial is offered, the cadence and the price that will be charged at the end of the trial are shown before you enter payment details. You can cancel from the billing portal at any point during the trial and you will not be charged.

6. Taxes

Prices are exclusive of applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax, which is calculated and collected by Stripe at checkout based on your billing address.
